The lion statues Patience and Fortitude come to life and devour the Clazmonian Sow during the Battle of Manhattan, activated as part of Command Sequence 23.

Grand Central Terminal

The statue of Hermes on the exterior is involved in the Clazmonian Sow fight during the Battle of Manhattan. The Caduceus decorates the main entrance.

Door of Orpheus (Entrance to the Underworld)

One of two known entrances to the Underworld, located somewhere in Central Park. Also where Percy fights Hyperion and the parley with Prometheus takes place.

Central Park — Heckscher Playground

Location of the parley between Percy and the Titan Prometheus during the Battle of Manhattan.

Chrysler Building

Percy has a conversation with Dionysus on the rooftop of the Chrysler Building during The Titan's Curse.

The first automaton activated as part of Command Sequence 23 during the Battle of Manhattan.

Thalia suggests meeting here for cheeseburgers after the Battle of Manhattan. A well-known gathering spot for the heroes.

Percy jumps into the water here to negotiate with the Hudson and East River spirits during the Battle of Manhattan.

Williamsburg Bridge

The Apollo cabin defends this bridge during the Battle of Manhattan. Kronos attacks here, Annabeth is stabbed by Ethan Nakamura, and Michael Yew dies or disappears.

Port Authority Bus Terminal

The ruins of Jack London's Wolf House serve as the lair of Lupa, the wolf goddess who trains Roman demigods. Hera is imprisoned here by Gaia's forces, and the final battle of The Lost Hero takes place at the ruins.

Colosseum

Colosseum (Lair of Monsters)

The ancient Roman Colosseum where the demigods battle monsters. The underground hypogeum still holds ancient threats connected to the mythological world.

Pantheon

The ancient temple to all Roman gods. The demigods visit the Pantheon during their time in Rome, recognizing it as a place of immense divine power.

Piazza Navona

The Baroque square in Rome where the demigods encounter threats. The Fountain of the Four Rivers is a focal point of mystical activity.

Underground Rome

The Athena Parthenos Chamber

Annabeth navigates the dangerous tunnels beneath Rome alone to find the Athena Parthenos. She faces Arachne in a cavern deep underground before the floor collapses into Tartarus.

Acropolis of Athens

Acropolis (Site of the Gigantomachy)

The Acropolis and Parthenon are the site of the final battle against Gaia's giants. The demigods and gods unite here for the Gigantomachy, the climactic battle of the series.

The original site of the Olympic Games, sacred to Zeus. The demigods pass through Olympia during their journey across Greece.

Great Salt Lake

The Argo II passes over the Great Salt Lake area during the cross-country journey from Camp Jupiter to Rome.

The demigods on the Argo II encounter Phorcys at the Georgia Aquarium, where the ancient sea god runs an exhibit of captured sea creatures.

The massive glacier in Alaska near where the giant Alcyoneus has his lair. Percy, Frank, and Hazel journey to Alaska to free Thanatos and defeat the giant.

Pillars of Hercules

The strait between Spain and Morocco, known in mythology as the Pillars of Hercules. The Argo II must pass through to enter the Mediterranean, facing Hercules himself as a guardian.
