The historic fort in Charleston Harbor where the demigods encounter a trap. The Civil War site holds mythological significance as a place where Roman and Greek forces clashed metaphorically.

Lair of Alcyoneus

The massive glacier in Alaska near where the giant Alcyoneus has his lair. Percy, Frank, and Hazel journey to Alaska to free Thanatos and defeat the giant.

Bologna

The Argo II stops near Bologna where the demigods encounter the Kerkopes, mischievous monkey-dwarf creatures who steal from them.

Venice

The Argo II crew explores Venice where they battle Katobleps (death-breathing cows) in the canals and encounter the demigod farmer-god Triptolemus.

Sutro Tower

The distinctive three-pronged broadcast tower on Twin Peaks in San Francisco. In The Tyrant's Tomb, it serves as a prison for Harpocrates and a nest for ravens.
